About
About Leverlore
Built by a BCBA, for students learning the experimental analysis of behavior.
Leverlore is a virtual operant chamber. You name a rat, arrange schedules of reinforcement, and watch the cumulative record build in real time. Version 2 adds motivating operations, reinforcer magnitude and quality, delays, response effort, two-lever choice with a live matching plot, and a Practice section with quizzes, mystery schedules and a timed exam.
Who made it
Leverlore was designed and built by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. It is original work: the art, text, code and behavior engine were written from scratch, guided by published quantitative models of operant behavior.
What it is, and what it is not
- A teaching simulation. The rat’s behavior comes from models such as the matching law, mathematical principles of reinforcement and hyperbolic discounting. It is not real animal data.
- A free demo: no account, no payment, nothing to install.
- Private by design. Your rat, progress and scores are saved only in this browser (local storage). Nothing is uploaded.
- Content-area tags align with the BCBA Test Content Outline (6th ed.) as a study aid. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the BACB.
